Within the confines of a can, koi with "acceptable" colors took a stand against a distinctly neon green fellow, opting to launch him skywards with cannons. Drawing parallels from our world, the title "Illegal Alien" is inspired by the term used for unauthorized inhabitants in the USA.

At its core, this work doesn’t just depict the koi's intolerance of the neon green's vibrant hue. It mirrors the broader societal issues of racism, social exclusion, and deeply-rooted prejudice. It's a reminder of the harsh realities that individuals face purely based on differences, be it color or origin.

With this piece, I hope to evoke reflections and conversations about the biases we harbor and the importance of embracing diversity. 🎨🌎💕
